Guidelines

DAN Europe is an international non-profit medical and research dedicated to the safety and health of divers.

  • The contest is open to professional and amateur video makers regardless of sex and nationality, over 18 years of age
  • Partecipation is free of charge
  • Videos must be between 30 – 60 seconds in lenght
  • Videos must be submitted in orizontal format
  • Videos may not previously have won any award and must be relevant to the contest theme
  • The Organizer will be not responsible for any inconvenience or damage occurred to videos due to technical problems and holds the right to showcase only videos considered appropriate
  • Videos submitted must not include obscene or sexually explicit content and must respect the marine ecosystem ( videos with one or more people standing or jumping on the seabed will be not accepted )
  • How to enter the contest
    • Entries must be submitted via the DAN Facebook Page (English language / Contest TAB) or via the contest page, and should include a video of 30 – 60 seconds. Your video will need to be hosted on a video hosting website such as YouTube, VINE or Instagram.
    • Entries open June 9th, 2015 and close on September 9th, 2015. Voting period starts on June 9th, 2015 and closes on September 28th, 2015 (12 pm).
    • Winners (4) will be chosen by popular vote (likes) and will be announced on September 30th, 2015 (full prize details here available).
  • The Organizer is looking for a video that…
    • Represents the idea of summer fun
    • Showcases divers dancing (in or out of the water)
    • Is short, direct and engaging
  • The Organizer will choose, among all the videos sent, the ones that will make up the final promotional video "Your DANcing Summer". Videos will be selected according to the following criteria:
    • evident relationship between the video and the theme;
    • originality, creativity and impact;
    • audio and visual quality of the video
    • Accomodation is free of charge for the 9 finalists.
